Lake Elsinore is a community southeast of Los Angeles and north of San Diego in Riverside County. As more and more housing moves east from Los Angeles, the city of Lake Elsinore is becoming more populated. Lake Elsinore is a popular spot for water recreation. The wide open area is also a great place for sky diving, ballooning, and flying experimental aircraft. The minor league baseball team, "The Storm", helped put Lake Elsinore on the map, giving local residents a place to watch professional baseball when Diamond Stadium opened in 1994.
