New York

Hello from West Seneca, New York!
We are 1st graders from Clinton St. Elementary School. West Seneca was founded by Indians many years ago. It is in Western New York, near the shores of Lake Erie. It is a suburb of Buffalo. We are located about 1/2 hour away from one of the 7 wonders of the world - Niagara Falls. We have many sports teams in our area to root for: the Buffalo Bills (football), the Buffalo Sabres (hockey), the Buffalo Bisons (baseball), and the Buffalo Bandits (lacrosse). We can go to Shea's Theater in Buffalo and see real Broadway plays, we can go to many major concerts, too. Ani DiFranco and the Goo Goo Dolls are from Buffalo. Brian McKnight and Nick Carter are from Western New York, too. In the summer, we like to swim, go camping, go to Darien Lake or Fantasy Island (amusement parks) and play sports like soccer, baseball, softball, tennis and lacrosse. Basketball, sledding, ice-skating, skiing, and making snowmen, snow forts and snow angels are our favorite winter activities.
We hope that you enjoyed learning a little about New York. We can't wait to hear from you and find you on our map!
