Our Mission

I'm Janet Cook.  I live in Petersaurach, a small town near Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany.  It's in southern Germany about halfway between Munich and Frankfurt.  My husband is an air conditioning mechanic who works at an American Army Post south of the Frankfurt airport and comes home to Petersaurach on weekends.  We bought a small house and live here with our daugther, Marie, 16, who attends the high school where I teach.  She is active in sports, in the top ten shooters in Europe on rifle team, a member of the National Honor Society, and just finished her second year as a state officer in Future Business Leaders of America.  Our other daughter, Danielle, 19, is now attending college at BYU, Provo, Utah.  She had no trouble getting in with a resume full of experiences in many countries.  There are lots of opportunities for students on military bases overseas and the schools are excellent!

I teach office applications, website design, computer animation, and certification preparation classes for Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A+, and MS Office Specialists.  We try to prepare our kids not only to do well in school and prepare for college, but also to be able to get real jobs right out of high school.  When I'm not glued to my computer, doing volunteer work with my church, or teaching, I like to go birdwatching, sightseeing, and, especially, play with my family.
