Troop 698 of Tres Condados Silver Award Project

The Girl Scouts of Troop 698 decided to take their silver award “state wide” and use one of “our” strongest resources; the Girl Scouts of California, to fight hunger. Troop 698 is hosting an "ALL GIRL SCOUT" event at Disneyland Resort. We are inviting all 229,017 Girl Scouts in the state of California and about another 102,101 adult Girl Scouts (Laytha Johnson, Information Center – GSUSA, NY) and their families to join us for a unique event. All the proceeds from the event will go to fight hunger. We truly feel that if California scouts all come together, we will be able to meet our goal of raising at least $100,000 to $150,000 from ticket sales!

Troop 698 feels that this project will benefit everybody involved; whether it is media coverage or the satisfaction of doing something good for our communities. Of course, Troop 698 will benefit by earning the highest honor in their age group, the Silver Award.
