Canada is known for its woodland nature.  Being such a large country means that it has many different geographic regions.  They are: Cordillera, Plains, Canadian Shield, St. Lawrence Lowlands, Appalachians and Arctic.

Caption: The chipmunk is one of the smallest mammals in the deciduous forests of Canada. Quick and inquisitive creatures, chipmunks store their food underground and hibernate in the winter months.
