Kent is one of the largest counties in England with 1.3 million residents.  It is widely known as The Garden of England for its stunning countryside.  There are many castles and places of historical interest to visit.

Kent can be found in the southeast of England (just east of London).  It is on the coast between the Thames River, North Sea and Straits of Dover.  The famous White Cliffs of Dover and the beautiful Canterbury are in Kent.  Canterbury is the setting of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and is listed as one of UNESCO's world heritage sites.  Huge chalk cliffs create the impressive coastline of Dover.
