Albany, California is just north of the city of Berkeley about 15 miles northeast of San Francisco, on the eastern shore of the San Francisco Bay. Albany has a population of 18,000 (estimate 2000). Incorporated in 1908, the city is named after the birthplace of its first mayor, Mayor Frank Roberts (Albany, New York). Have a nice day!
