Connecticut

Greetings from Sterling, Connecticut. We're a very small rural community. Hartford is our state capital, which is about 50 miles west of Sterling. We live on the Rhode Island - Connecticut border. We have four seasons... a cold winter, a hot summer, a rainy spring and a cool fall. Our state bird is the American Robin. Our state flower is the Mountain Laurel. Our state insect is the Praying Mantis. We were the 1st state to have a constitution, that is why we are known as the Constitution State.
