France

My first view of the Eiffel Tower from the Trodadero was on a very rainy evening in April 2006.  We had been exploring Paris on foot when a massive thunderstorm hit.  April Showers!  Naturally, we had left our umbrellas back at the hotel.  Even though it was pouring, it was our first day in Paris and I wanted to make the most of every moment of my visit.  Two of our group headed for the warmth of the hotel but Karen and I continued our adventure!  Pulling my jacket over my head, more to protect my camera than my hair, we headed from the subway towards an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower at night.  We ducked under the canopy of a street stand and purchased a ham and cheese panini.  Crowded under the canopy, trying to stay dry, we weren't alone.  I videotaped the sparkling Eiffel Tower which reflected in rain puddles on the ground.  The tape captured the international roots of our company.  Many different languages spoken here.
